Battle of the Fuze Slenderize Flavors

It’s been a while since the last installment of our Battle Of series, and with the transition from summer to autumn we thought it would be appropriate to celebrate with some drinks that remind us of tropical places. Fuze Slenderize flavors from Fuze Beverage are the company’s answer to low carb competition, and worthy competitors the Slenderize flavors are. We chose three of the six available flavors for our little competition. After sampling these three we are eager to try the others.

Let’s start off by saying that we really enjoyed all three flavors. The bottle suggests shaking the product well before drinking, and we agree. Each flavor contains only 5mg of sodium, and 100% of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C. All three are sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium. They were all refreshing and interesting, but we’re here to crown a champion, so let’s get to it!

First Place: Tropical Punch
The Tropical Punch flavor actually one first place in the taste competition and the healthiness competition. Sporting a remarkable blend of fruit flavors, fruit drink lovers will be thrilled with this tropical mix. As it was the only competitor able to provide great taste and shed all of its sugar, we think we have a clear winner in this flavor.

Second Place: Strawberry Melon
The Strawberry Melon Flavor really had a strong taste of watermelon, which we really enjoyed. If the competition were for the most interesting blend of flavors, the mix of strawberry and melons in this flavor would have been a strong contender to win. It is delightful, and containing only one gram of sugar makes Strawberry Melon a strong second place finisher.

Third Place: Cranberry Raspberry
The Cranberry Raspberry flavor was a very nice mix of cranberry and raspberry. It’s hard to find anything bad to say about this flavor, and it’s fair to say that the thing that kept it out of the running for the championship was that it was the weakest of the three flavors. We were expecting it to be a little more bold, but it was the most watered down of the flavors. Take our word for it though, you wouldn’t turn it down on a hot summer day.

After seeing how these three flavors performed in our battle we’re really looking forward to trying the other three Slenderize flavors from Fuze Beverage. They are Tangerine Grapefruit, Blueberry Raspberry, and Dragonfruit Lime. Give them a try yourself, and let us know what you think about Fuze Slenderize!
