Low Carb Snacks
The hot weather has us back on our frozen treat kick. Our latest test subject is Eskimo Pie No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bars. These low carb snacks provide an interesting contrast to the recently reviewed Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Krunch Lites Ice Cream Bars. Both bars taste great. The Eskimo Pie bars’ ice cream is slightly less flavorful, but its thick chocolate shell is the clear winner of the two. We wish we had weighed the bars so that we could compare mass, because the Eskimo Pie bars seem much heftier than most of the low carb competition. You can’t go wrong with either one, but if you’re looking for a frozen low carb treat with a cool stick-to-your-ribs feeling, we encourage you to give Eskimo Pie No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bars a try.
Serving size is one frozen treat. Each bar contains 150 calories and 10 grams of fat. You’ll also get 5mg of cholesterol and 45mg of sodium. Each bar provides about 8 grams of digestible carbohydrate, including 2 grams of fiber. A serving also provides 2 grams of protein. Eskimo Pie No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bars are sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium.

We love the low sugar bars but are unable to locate a store in The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe area of Texas. Do you have a way of locating a store carrying your product?

Dear Sir: I am diabetic and enjoy this product “Eskimo Pie No Sugar Added”; however, my neighborhood grocery store Smith’s on Paseo del Norte in Albuquerque, NM no longer stocks it. How can I get it back in the store? Or is there another store that carries it?
Thanks,
Don

These are wonderful, however, I can no longer find them in the Detroit/Dearborn Michigan area. They use to be at Target and Westborn Fruit Markets, but are no longer on the shelf. I miss them. Where did they go???

I have been buying your wonderful Eskimo Pie dark chocolate bars with no sugar added purchased from Wal-Mart. Then WM discontinued selling them and I purchased them from a local HyVee store. I couldn’t find them there this week.
Are you still producing the product and if you are, where can I purchase it?
Thanks,
Pat Tabel

At least you got Winn-Dixie. We ain’t had no W-D around here for about 5 to 10 years. Just that expensive Harris Teeter now, becuase Food Lion sucks.
I can;t find these around here anywhere, including the Target. I haven’t looked at Sams or Walmart.
